Welcome to Leicester City Cricket Development Organisation (LCCDO)

We are organisation setup in 2014 of Leicester city cricket clubs. Our aim is to promote the game of cricket within Leicester to include Youth and Women cricket and to be become more inclusive.

We also aim to improve the facilities for city clubs and opportunities for inner city players to progress along a pathway. Currently we have the support of 13 affiliated inner-city clubs. We hope to expand this in the near future.

We aim to organise tournaments for our youth, women and wider community in line with ECB initiatives in the near future. We have already organised such events in the past.

We have recently joined up with TEAMS (Together Everyone Achieves More Success) which is a joint venture to promote the knowledge and understanding towards a healthier lifestyle through engagement and participation in sport.

Who We Are & What We Do

As an organisation our aims are to develop and promote the sport of cricket in the city of Leicester to shape and influence the cricketing landscape in the city through Wider engagement, Club development, Funding, Talent development and Coaching education, Organising local community cricket and the Development of youth and women’s cricket.
